COACHES
My responsibility is leadership, and the minute I get negative, that is going to have an influence on my team.” - Don Shula
Football and cheerleading are both TEAM sports. LPFA makes every attempt to recruit volunteer coaches that understand the sport and are committed to developing the teams and individual participants in a positive environment. LPFA expects its coaches to be objective and fair by placing participants in positions that give the team the best chance of succeeding and the individuals their best opportunity to contribute.
LPFA adheres to the minimum play and cheer time that is set forth in the BICYFL/BICYCL league rules. After that minimum is met, participation time will be determined by ability, attitude and effort. Therefore, you are being asked, as parents, to help deliver the message that while nothing is guaranteed, success is most likely obtained through hard work, dedication and a positive attitude.
