Volunteering

The saying “it takes a village…” is not just true in parenting.  It also applies to youth sports.  Keeping a team running smoothly is not just the responsibility of the coach.  Rather, it requires help at all levels.

As a family participating in LPFA, you are required to volunteer at least an hour at the annual Berks Brawl and at least three times at regular season home games.  The positions that regularly need filled are:

• Setup - concessions & field

• Concessions Sales

• Chain Gang

• Clean up

• Game Clock

 

If you would like more information on how you can sign up for the various positions that need filled throughout the year, please contact Randi Carpenter.

If you meet your volunteer requirement and return your equipment,  your $75 volunteer fee will be returned to you at the end of the season. 

Please note:  Coaches are exempt from this requirement, because they commit so much time already during practices and games.
